Meet our founder & creative director

Jo, a brand strategist and stylist, designer, photographer and playlist champion, is passionate about helping brands find their creative voice. Jo’s been cultivating brands – helping to develop and define their voice for over 18 years. The times may have changed, but her love for creativity and problem-solving hasn’t.
​
A progressive example of a jack of all trades, Jo's knowledge and skills span various industries with a focus on wellness, fashion, beauty and sustainable brands. Jo creates celebrated brands, helping clients achieve work that is functional, impactful as well as beautiful. Her range of knowledge gives unique insights into the intersection of strategy, design and business development.

An avid world traveller, Jo brings her passion for culture to the world of design. With roots in both Asia and the UK, our creative director brings a depth of design knowledge and expertise to every project. Born and bred in Hong Kong, Jo has experience that includes companies based in Europe, Australia, the US and Asia.

I founded Island Creative with a view of creating a community of conscious creators who work together with a holistic approach of design and branding - fuelling my love for people, community-building, and helping clients share their purpose with the right audience in the right way. By uniting enthusiasm with curiosity, I’m audacious in the pursuit of creating a positive impact and building lasting connections with the people and places around me.
I believe in listening, encouraging, advising and building relationships with my clients that last long past launch day. I’m excited to learn about your project and to begin a journey together. I’d love to give you the tools to show up confidently in front of your dream audience.
